The Artist
Born and educated in Helsinki, Finland, Ti Ehn received a sound foundation at the Free Art School of Helsinki. Along with the fine arts she also studied textile arts and weaving at the Lappeenranta School for Weaving and Handicrafts.
This multifaceted and talented artist had an early interest in the human form and has cultivated her talent throughout her life. Although not widely displayed, her portraits are widely admired for capturing the subject's personality and essence.
She resides and works in Takoma Park, Maryland.
The Process
Initial meeting to discuss details of the painting will be arranged at a mutually convenient time and location.
Photographs taken during the first sitting will be used as the primary model for the portrait.
Additional sittings may be requested as the painting progresses.
Pricing
Pricing for the paintings vary depending on the medium used, number of subjects, composition and size.
A non-refundable deposit may be required in the beginning of the project. The balance is due once the painting is completed and accepted by the client.
Framing is optional with additional price pending on style.
